Subject: Lake Stevens 70.3 vs. Boulder 70.3
Anyone done either of these courses? They both fit into my sked, may even drive if I go to LS, stop in Vegas on the way back.

This is a training/test race...A race is IMAZ.  SO I am looking for the one that's most AZ race specific, which I realize isn't necessarily either one.

Boulder is a great course, I raced it last year. The thin air will get you ready for IMAZ.

Lake Steven's is a great course too - I don't know how closely it relates to AZ though.  The bike is two loops, with a lot of up and downs.  . some good fast decents, but some longish climbs too.  I think it is somewhere in the world of 1200-1250 elevation gain per loop, or 2500 total.  the run is also a double loop, with a couple hills. .   the best part was that this year, they had pizza after the race
