Subject: Question for Zoot wearing Chicks
My wonderful husband got me the cute purple Zoot top I had on my wish list for Christmas.  I like it but the white "shelf bra" doesn't make sense to me - why would they put a cotton 'shelf bra' in a tri top?  As far as support this isn't going to cut it for me so I plan to wear a sports bra underneath anyway.  I thought about cutting out the white shelf bra, has anybody else done this?  Did you notice the cotton rubbed or bugged you?

I have a couple of these. The cotton doesn't bother me chaffing wise, but agree about the cotton being less than substantial...I don't need extra support, but felt like I was in a wet t-shirt contest so I took out some of the inserts on my bikini tops and wear then with the tri top..they stayed in place for both the races I wore these tops in..I probably will be in search for new tops this year though.

I have a Zoot tri top from last year, but I can't remember if the shelf bra was cotton or not.  Either way, it didn't give me any problems.

I wear Zoot Tri tops and the built in bra is definitely NOT cotton, more of a mesh type of shelf bra. Could it be one of their Cycling tops? Either way, it seems weird that any of their tops would have a cotton bra. I wear a bra under mine but haven't had any issues with chafing but my longest race was an Oly.
