In that case I've got all of the older Depeche Mode CD's, B-52's, U2.
Some Tracy Chapman, Peter Gabriel, Robert Palmer, The Bacon Brothers

Pat Benatar, Alanis Morisette, Sheryl Crow

Fleetwood Mac, Meatloaf, Pet Shop Boys

Mary Chapin Carpenter, Garth Brooks, Sawyer Brown

Eurythmics, Annie Lennox

Melissa Etheridge, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill

Lots of Queen

Martina McBride

Soundtrack from The Lost Boys

Matchbox 20, 3 Doors Down

Some Sugarland, George Strait

Tons and Tons of Disney music

Elton John, Trisha Yearwood

This is just a sampling

Those bolded all sound good (not that the others don't...). Got any Red Hot Chili Peppers in there? or Green Day? Or anything else with a fast pace that would help me with, say, a cadence of 90-ish?

I'll burn you a CD or 2 and toss it in with your t-shirt!

I do have a few Green Day songs. I'll see what else I've got.

I have some fast paced stuff that has some R-rated lyrics, would you be interested or not?

iowagander - 2010-02-16 7:48 PM BTW - for dinner tonight here we have the biggest freaking chicken breasts on the planet (1 lb each) seasoned with fresh squeezed lemon and lime with garlic salt, and broccoli. Yum!

I hope your big breasts were amazing, Tom Cool

NICE!

Ann--I find them quite comfortable...I actually find the rubber/foam annoying now...but I've been swimming for so long that maybe its just a result of being in the water 20+ hrs a week and now I have a hard time going back to normal goggles...

Didn't actually "finish" cleaning...lots needed to be washed....so I'm waiting on that one...

Just did a 4400m swim...my coach asked me what I did yesterday and I told him a 17km run....and then he asked me if I did anything this morning...I said a 60min bike...then he replied "you body is going to hate you later"....his prediction is right...

My left leg was not really impressed...swimming increased the inflammation and made it all twingy...so I changed to pull about 1/2 way through the set tonight...ya...1800m pull...my shoulders are made of steel...now if only my legs could be too...Undecided

Just watched Evan Lysachek (or however you spell his last name) skate....it was a pretty sweet short program...I don't think the channel has moved off the Olympics for 3 days...

I may have to give the goggles a try. They are dirt cheap and I like the colors. Thanks Melissa!!!

disturbed275 - 2010-02-16 8:31 PMI have a load of laundry that needs to be folded too.  I dumped it on the bed to try and force myself to fold it.  If it stays in the dryer or the basket I have a bad habit of just picking out what I need.

Should I be drinking wine while doing this?
Yes, yes you should.

Scotch works too. Or beer. Or.... hell just about anything makes folding laundry better.
...or appletinis...or jagermeister...or tequila shots. mmmm. Folding laundry could be fun, really.

Laundry party at Tom's place then. I've got plenty of socks and shirts to go around!

So is this laundry party like a toga party? All we are wearing is socks shirts?

givemashot - 2010-02-16 9:00 PM I just watched Patrick Chan skate. Weir is about to skate. His costume looks like a woman's corset, pink ribbons and all. I am enjoyng the olympics for sure. I want to see more snowboardcross, though. That was pretty cool. The luge/skeleton/bobsled have always made me cringe...I have no intention of watching any of that, especially after watching footage of the fatal crash last week. What's everyone else's fave/least fave events?

Hard to pick a favorite. I'm definitely an Olumpics junkie, especially the winter games. I've always loved the downhill ski races, hockey, speed skating, etc. I can even watch curling and get totally into it! I think my favorite event so far this year was the Men's Nordic Combined the other day. That was an amazing finish!

I really like the downhill skiing and speed skating too.  I am waiting to see the ski jumping this year.  Something about them traveling so far in the air is really cool.

I like all the sports, usually. The winter sports always amaze me. I never had much contact with them (living in the south) so it is like watching foreign life styles. I get annoyed watching them on network tv though. I want to watch the sports dammit, NOT all your commercials and weather reports yada yada yada.

The only time I can wear one is in a race. My hair breaks off. Not just a little. I look a lot like I took a nap and had a run in with a kid with a pair of scissors. It is sad.
