Subject: Switching frames, help with switching measurements over
Hi all,

I just scored a 2009 Specialized Transition S-Works Frame Module! Wohoo!

So here's my problem. I spent hours and hours fitting myself on my last bike, a 2007 Cannondale Slice Six13. Then I went to see a professional fitter.

Question: Can someone help coach me on how to transfer all those perfect measurements over to my new setup?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

those two frames are going to be very hard to "swap over." They are very different bikes. Immediately things like "the module comes with it's own - in house - crank" come to mind. Also, do you have the zero setback or regular seat post? What sizes are both bikes (Specialized's have some funky sizing, even amongst bike companies)

Why not get another Pro fit on that new ride. (Love the new S-works btw)

I agree on the pro bike fit...and I'm sure I will before the season starts. Buy $$$ is tight after paying for the frame!

My Cannondale is a 58', my new S-Works is a 57'. The spec sheets of the 2 bikes don't match up all that well. Specialized doesn't even list a top tup length...maybe because it's slightly curved.

I was going to measure:
1. the distance from the nose of my saddle to the base bar.
2. the height of the saddle from the bottom bracket
3. Plumb the front and rear of the saddle in relation to where it lines up to the bottom bracket.

Anything else? That should be a good start, then fine tune things from there. I'm sure more silly Youtube fit videos are soon to come from me.
