Subject: Super Bowl Viewing Thread
In light of the other thread about what people are doing for Super Bowl:

What is it that does (or not) draw you to the Super Bowl? 

For instance, I really enjoy watching football so I tune in regardless of the teams.  But I know plenty others who could care less about the football game itself.  Some play games with the commercials.  Others host a party because it provides an outlet for a social gathering.  Maybe you care less and the day is just another day in your book.

I wish this was a multiple choice poll.  I will watch because I like football and I enjoy the commercials.  Plus, it's a great excuse for a party.

For the first time in 10 years my wife and I will not be hosting a Super Bowl party.  Normally it's a fun time for us to get together with friends.

This year we will be alone.  We are long suffering Saints fans so this one is special for us on so many levels.  I never thought I would be so emotional over a sporting event but this year, this team, has brought this state something we never thought we would be able to see.

Are you kidding? I waited 43 years for this game, and at times really believed I'd never live to see it.

But, yeah, in other years I watch for the game, regardless of the teams. Commercials usually add to the entertainment value.

Only if at a party but that is because I do not have cable or tv other than netflix/Hulu and so will not bother watching it unless I get invited somewhere to watch it. If I did have Cable I would probably put it on for background while doing normal sunday chores.

So, what teams are playing in the SB? I am getting the sense that the New Orleans Saints are in the game. Yes?
