Subject: Hello from Kansas City First-time triathlon attemp here. I'ts something that I've always wanted to do since I was a teen...now I'm 39. Looking at the Tinman in Topeka in June. It's a hair shorter than an Olympic. I've done quite a bit of cycling over the past year. A little jogging and no swimming. I've maintained a bit of physical form over the winter/holidays with daily workouts, cycling/spinning, eliptical and some light weights and core exercises. Basically trying to just keep in decent shape and not get fat. I'll be starting the 16 week Olympic - 2x Balanced plan that I found here. Wish me luck! Matt |
