It was one of those cold winter nights here in the NE.  So I decided to pack my bag and head to the gym for a little treadmill running.  Well, when i arrived I realized that I did not fully pack my bag. No SNEAKERS... Ug. Decisions, do I just do weights but with work shoes no way.  Do I run in work shoes. NO WAY.. Do I drive home and get my sneakers, not likely to return..  No options...  But wait. Run without shoes....  I went for that option..  But I knew I had to make a few adjustments.  Cut distance by half, and slow down.. So instead of running 4 I ran 2 but at a slower pace.. Get what..???.  It was a great decision.  I was able to get a small run in. Experienced running without sneakers and it was fun in a strange way.  Plus, and the big plus for me.. Feel fine today...

What do you guys thing about running without shoes.????. I think I may get a few opinions here....

I'm surprised the gym let you run without shoes on a treadmill.  Normally they would crap themselves to see who would be able to get you off the treadmill first, just to eliminate the liability.

You're welcome!

Enjoy the new feeling. Even if you never do it again (which hey, you liked it, try it again!), it's fun to shake things up. Glad you got your run on!
