Hancock today was pretty good, but there were down moments.

Try to stay away from cycling, running, sports movies.  They have way too much dialogue sans action.

I need to ramp up my cycling well beyond today's 70 minutes.

Hot Rod is a great movie to watch while riding. I sprint during the stuntman scenes.

Last Man Standing w/Bruce Willis. Almost no dialog and lots and lots of gunfire.

I watch a lot of TV Shows (The Wire, The Shield, 24, etc...).  If I was to pick a movie.  I would go with Blackhawk Down.

I voted for PB as it's one of my favorite movies of all time.  I also like watching surf movies (Endless Summer I & II, Riding Giants, etc.) for the eye candy of it.  Lately, I've been watching Going The Distance as I'm training for my first IM.

I have watched quite a few movies on the trainer, but nothing compares to the new Terminator and GI Joe. Neither of them are good movies, but the action and senseless violence make them and the ride fly by. The worst is though, for long rides, it needs to be a movie I haven't seen yet or I get bored at about and hour or hour and a half and then just give up.

I usually watch streaming shows on my laptop when I'm on trainer or treadmill.  My favorites fall into two categories: adult animation (family guy/simpsons/cleveland show/american dad), and action/scifi (24/fringe/heroes).

One of my new favorites is the Spartacus series on Netflix.  Spartacus is a combination of 300, Gladiator and a soft core porn.  Terrible dialogue, but enough action, violence and sex to keep your mind off your own pain.

So many... Hard to go wrong with a good IMWC 05-08... But I am a fan of the action stuff, 300, The Rock, et. al.

*cgchandler beat me to it*
Spartacus: Blood & Sand has been an entertaining show recently on the DVR...  300 meets Gladiator meets porn!  Pretty 'manly' stuff!

The Princess Bride - you could probably watch it over & over and never get bored!  I watched Forty Year Old Virgin on the treadmill - funny enough to keep me distracted!

I like the tv shows.  Alias is pretty good - there's action to keep me interested and a disc has 4 episodes so i can set it to 'play' all and the next episode comes on - no fiddling and no commercials!

Usually TV shows like Gangland, Mobsters, etc. Anything on Discovery or NatGeo too. As for a movie, the Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy works for the long ride. Yet to get that much time on the trainer though, but a break to change dics every 2 hrs is a nice excuse to stretch out for a second.

Ditto on the TV shows. I've almost finished re-watching Season Two of 24. In fact, there has been a workout or two that I've incorporated intervals with the clock that pops up during the show.

I like Breaking Away... when he's racing the transport truck... or trying to catch up with the Italian cycling team.
American Flyers is a good one too -

I like TV episodes for shorter rides.  Right now I'm about to hop aboard the trainer for my second 90 minute chunk of "Lawrence of Arabia".

I have to go with the Hangover...90 minutes goes by so fast.

Longer rides I like to put in Lost.
