Subject: Torn Hip labrum

I have been having mysterious hip pain since August. Typically pain only happens when I run but when I continue to push through pain extends to every aspect of my day.
Orthopedic thinks is may be a torn hip labrum, so I'm headed to have an mri arthrogram.

Question - has anyone out there been through this? Has anyone gone through the repair surgery (arthroscopic) Any suggestions? I've already been through PT, with no change

I'm aiming to do my first tri in May & am really hoping to get there....

I have labral tears in both hips. I use PT to try and keep them as asymptomatic as possible. The arthroscopy for hips is difficult and there are only a handful of surgeons in the country who are really good at it.
