Extreme Veteran  494  |  Subject: I'm hooked!!Hey everyone! I've been on the site for awhile, but have never posted, so here ya go. I've done two Tri's so far. My First Tri in Galveston and the CB&I Tri in the woodlands. I love this sport!! I need to build up my swimming since my next race will be an olympic distance in July at the Tri-America in Irving. I live off of 1960 down by Willowbrook Mall. If anyone knows of any good bike routes in that area that would be great!! Brian |

The CBI tri was amazinng, well organized... different from the Galveston tri... don't you think? The Tejas tri las weekend was good too... I live in Pearland, but I work in Houston.. I don;t have anybody to train with, I have been doing it on my own. I been thinking about joining the Houston tri club... haven't decided yet... Welcome to the amzing and addicting sport of triathlon... It is cool and easy to get hooked.... I am.. so I see that you are too.... cheers |

The Northwest cycling club has group rides of various distances and speeds that leave off 290 Saturdays at 7am; you can find them on the web. Haven't done one with them yet though. I was going to a couple of weeks ago and couldn't figure out how to put the bike rack on my car - so you see who you're dealing with here! (Guy at BikeSport has since unlocked that particular mystery for me.)  I also did the My First Tri and wanted to do CB&I... just didn't feel ready, as I had slacked off with my training in April.
