You did the right thing by dnfing. Why risk further injury and ruin your whole season? Your swim and bike were great, even with a cracked seat post!

Ken.... sorry to hear about this race... but you did the right thing... I have DNF before (a half marathon)...  was not easy to do it.. but once I did it I was glad I did...   Save the health for the A race... florida that is..

Tough break on the DNF, especially since you were doing so well up to that point.  However, it is better to DNF now rather than hurt yourself in the long term.  There will be other races to kick ass in!!  Hope tht calf gets better soon!
