I am loving this...

I have traied for 1/2 marathons before...but this is my first Tri season, and my training load has been alot higher than it ever was for any of my 1/2 marys.  Usually on my long run days (saturdays), i would be worn out, tired, and afterward would only want to come home and take a nap.

Even a month ago (about 2 months into really starting my Tri training), i would feel worn down after my long runs.  But that is all changing.  I already got my long run in this morning (6.5 miles), and feel great afterwards...like i am ready to start my day!  I've got a long list of things to do, and looking forward to going on a long walk in the park with my dog, a college baseball game, and the necessary chores and errands.

Its amazing how much more energy i have now.  lovin it

Good for you! My journey was very similar. Before tri, I was a runner and when I would do the long runs.. 10+ miles, I would be done for the day- now, knock that out, and the day begins! It is an awesome feeling to see and feel how the other disciplines really do carry over to build your endurance overall! Happy training to you!
