Subject: Looking for Duathlon Training Plan
I'm looking for a duathlon training plan to help prepare me for a 2mi/52.4mi/12.4mi race in September.  I've got some good base running mileage as I just completed a marathon last week.  It's just now getting warm enough around here to think about riding a bike again.  Does anyone have some suggestions or resources that you can point me to?

Thanks,
Bryan

Those distances, sans the first run, are similar to the half-iron distance.  Maybe use a half-iron training plan and omit the swimming portion of the training?

I'm doing a 3.1/56/13.1 in Duathlon in July. I'm just using the 1/2 iron plan from here (BT) and replacing the swims with a bike/run/rest. I am swimming 1 day a week though for cross training and to keep some swim fitness.

Guys. Here is a website I found a few months ago when I did my Du that might provide some info to go with your current training. Good luck.
