I am considering upgrading from my Timex HR Monitor to something that provides more detailed training information. I am petite - so really don't want a goliath computer attached to my wrist - but at the same time, would like information on training zones, cadence, pace (both run and bike) distance, GPS, and ability to download training data to computer so I can see performance.

I have a Polar S625x I'm trying to get off my hands! Great watch, just no GPS and you can download the workouts.
If you do want GPS, I would say Garmin are the best in the industry (reliable signal, etc). However, they don't have the best software to download the workouts; they provide very basic feedback unless you use a different software.
