Anyone have this yet?  I am thinking about getting one-still run the old CATEYE on the bikes now.  Seems like it has all the bells and whistles (HR/PM-if I ever get one) just not a mapping feature.  Not sure I would use the map though.  Thoughts?

I don't have one but I think it's a nice unit for the bike, particularly size and feature wise. If I were looking for a computer strictly for the bike, I would seriously consider this one. Like you said, the only thing it lacks is mapping which can be nice. For me though, whatever I have, I like to be able to use on both the bike and the run at a minimum. So that means forerunner 305 or forerunner 310xt (along with the quick release kit and cadence sensor). These two are the best multi-sport watches IMHO.

I have the 700 and love it.  I use it on my road bike, mtb, and soon my tt bike.  One downfall is the calorie algo Garmin uses is way off.  I find it over states by at least 2.5x
