Cool looking bike Rudy!  What crank are you using?  Looks like FSA?  Now, go out and cut that headtube!

VERY NICE! Beautiful bike! How does it feel riding it?

I bought a new Merckx with Dura-ace and nice wheels last summer and it just felt like a porsche compared to a vw when I took it out for the first time. I could not believe how noticeable the difference was (although my wife told me that it had better be noticeable b/c the checkbook definitely noticed it!

FSA Energy cranks, Aluminum bike so i figured an Aluminum crank would be ok. I wanted to make sure that i did not need to raise the bar so i left some stem, so i raced it yesterday, felt great, very very stiff, kinda rides a little harsh, but that might be the Tri seat, which i will change out, but it is my race bike so i can deal with a little harsh.....oh and i trimmed the stem last night, lol

much different than all the carbon or carbon/steel bikes I own. The bike is as advertised, very very stiff, but a little on the harsh side. Climbs well, accelerates quickly, no flex in the BB area.  Great race bike, don't know if i will century it lol!!

I LOVE aluminum/very stiff bikes! They are soooo responsive and climb so well. Plus, when crashed (as will inenvitably happen if you race enough) they survive and can still be ridden for 1000's of miles more.

Yeah, they ride a little rough but that just makes us tougher in the long run! The whole "That which does not kill us makes us HTFU!!!" Gotta love it!

Congrats on a great bike.

Heck, I would probably stay with the FSA cranks over SRAM at this point.  I've had to bend teeth back in my RED cranks now...that's no good to me.  Definitely a sweet bike!

Awesome ride! Way to match the tires!
I recently swapped out my seatpost and seat and shaved about 150 grams off of my Tarmac. I cant wait to build my aluminum, currently looking at a CAAD 9 frame.

What pedals did you put on?

they are Crank Bros Quattro (which have been discontinued) i use the Crank Bros setup on all my bikes (2x roadies, Cross and TT rig) it makes it easy to use whatever shoe i want on whatever bike (like MTB shoes in the winter while on Tri bike so i don't freeze the toesies, lol).

Very nice! I especially like how the tires match! Is the part on the downtube near "BMC" blue or purple?

Rear half is Deep Amethyst pearl, a dark purple tough to photo, front is Nitro yellow, both are early to mid 90's Chrysler colors
