OK, so I'm no speed demon (28:42, according to my Garmin), but today's race was easily a 10-year PR...much to my surprise, as I'd not slept that well last night. Plus, I happened to run into someone I knew after the race and she invited me out to brunch with some of her friends, which turned out to be a great time. A MUCH better morning than I'd anticipated...

Lovely to have a new target to aim for, too!

Thanks, everyone! I just checked the official race results, and they have me at 28:30, in fact-- I knew I'd hit the buttons on the Garmin before and after I'd crossed the line, but didn't realize I'd taken that much time...either way, I've a new target to aim for! *is determined*
