I'm assuming I rest, right? Skip todays strength and tomorrow AM's swim? I have 2 very short runs scheduled for the week, 1 4 x 400 intervals and another 2 mile tempo. I plan to get those in later in the week, maybe Wed & Thursday.
Just need to hear someone else tell me I better rest up to be 100% for Sunday. Otherwise I'm likely to work through and risk race day health.
Any voices of reason out there?
Thanks! You are not going to gain any fitness at all by doing any workouts this week... no fitness that you can apply to your upcoming race, at least. You could run yourself further down, though and that would not be a good thing. Rest. Recover. Take it easy. |
