Expert  1179    Kansas City, Missouri |  Subject: OWS this weekend 4/16-4/17 near La JollaHey guys/gals, does anyone know if there is any sort of group doing an OWS this weekend near La Jolla? I saw a post that xterra sponsors a weekday swim, but we can't get there in time friday. We are traveling there from about 3 hours inland and I would like to get some practice in the ocean w/ some experienced swimmers if I can. |

Not sure what the protocol is for "hooking up" down there but there is sure to be lots of candidates. It's pretty easy on your own as well, well marked buoys at 1/4 and 1/2 mile out |

| Subject: RE: OWS this weekend 4/16-4/17 near La Jolla There's a La Jolla Canyon in Malibu (way north malibu in point mugu), and the La Jolla submarine canyon comes up to the surface there, but there's a La Jolla city in SD. I assume it's the latter we're talking about |
