I raced mountain bikes for several years before the move and have taken a big interest in competing in my first triathlon!

Why not combine the two for your first (if you don't have one planned already)? I'll be heading over in July to race Xterra First Coast. I'll be bringing at least one friend, maybe two or three. Maybe we could meet up to pre-ride the course on Saturday.

I am a beginer and spend many weekends in Jax. I want to ride A1A to st augustine from Ponte Vedra. If you know of any equipment places or cool routes plase let me know.

Welcome to Florida.  I travel to Jax a couple of times in a month.  I live in Orlando.  You won't find a better list of Triathlons in the south.  Take a look at the race calendar on this site and you will see what I mean.
