Glad you're not totalled JayC!  Will say a prayer for your recovery.

How's the bike?  Is this a means to get that upgrade we all dream about?  Just kidding.

Feel better!

I am sorry to hear about your crash. I'm glad to see things are well(all things considered) and hope everything turns out OK for a speedy recovery. I will keep you in my thoughts. It was only these past few weeks that I started riding with a lid on. This story only confirms what I should have been doing months ago.

Thanks all. Had a few more tests done, nothing torn and no major breaks. Shoulder is pretty bad, ankle feels a little better and the swelling has gone down some. The shoulder I can understand because I landed on it but I can't for the life of me figure out how I twisted my ankle. Oh well, I guess I'll have the time to finish the beginning running article now.

Thanks again for all of the well wishes!

JayC, so very sorry for your crash, and so very glad you are basically OK. As stated before -- do not rush into your training to soon. Heal totally first. Keep us posted, and keep reading and posting us whilst you recover.

That's awful!
Hope you recover soon...get thyself to a good physiotherapist for your shoulder..it doesn't take much for a shoulder to freeze up and get into a mess of immobility and pain

JayC--

What a miracle that your ok! (relatively, I mean!)

Well, while you are recovering, we will stay committed to keeping your spirits up! Did they say if you could still swim... no that wouldn't work with the shoulder would it.

Wishing you the best, and you better go bronze that tree... or the helmet!!

Jason - BUMMER with a capital B - BUT - you are still with us man! A bit of time off from training - however tough - is way the heck better than "forever" off - so hang in, heal up, and hope for soon return to training!

Glad to hear nothing too serious JayC. Wish you a speedy recovery. Guess you can use your down time to read those great tri training books and help educate us all.
