Subject: RE: Slide Boards for training You can incorporate similar movements without a board, by doing the same lateral drills on a grass field, with some forward momentum.Use google to search for skating drills. This will avoid you smacking your head on a counter or coffee table - do not ask how I know this.... There are also drills/exercises that utilize rubber tubing to strengthen the lateral (and medial ) leg muscles... As for whether it is applicable to tri training, that is best left for some of the experts on the forums. |
