Thanks for the updates Mandigirl! Tania, I thought about you this morning as I was swimming. Glad you made your swim!

As far as this week, I got in all of my planned workouts except Tuesday morning's swim so I'll make that up on Monday. More importantly, it has been a fun week with a fun team. Good job, everyone!

Okay, so my husband returns tomorrow afternoon and I leave morning. Too much time on my hands on a Friday night, but I sincerely hope that our racers (VT and Kepola) do really well tomorrow. Let's plan to jump all over their RRs.

I also hope you don't mind that I've posted encouragement to racers on other teams. My personal goal this month is to keep it fun; it is something that I thought got a little bit lost last month. I've encouraged other racers but I've also asked that they encourage you as well. We'll see if it plays out. I can go nasty in a nanosecond if I need to, but I view success as that we all meet our BT goals.

Hope everyones races went well. I got a little 5 k tomorrow. It should be a good 'ole run. I'm going to need it. Feeling very anti-active at the moment. Need to get that spark ignited again. Then get some tube for both my tri bike and mtn bike. Both are flat. No luck with bike lately. Better now than in a race.

Kepola, Vapor? How did you do? We're waiting!

Me? Finished 2nd in my AG. Stupid swim, followed by a great bike and run. Can't wait to hear about the rest of our crew.

For those not racing, how was your weekend?

Hi Team Endless  Summer!

Back from the weekend of Triathlon stuff and......................

are you waiting????......................................

Ok,ok....

My first Triathlon was a freaking BLAST!!!    I did good.  There were a few mishaps but I survived.  I will post details in my race report which I will write up soon.  I wanted to tell you, my team mates, first.

BTW, my hubby did wonderful too.  We are two very happy new triathletes.

I got up early this morning for a quick OW swim on the tri coarse before the start of the today's race. (This is a two day event, I raced yesterday)  Not sure if it counts towards are mini challenge.  If not then, no worries.

Happy training all to all.

Go Team Endless Summer!

Congrats, racers, and good luck tonight, hoff!

Okay, so I stroll over to the training logs area (remember I don't use them), and I can't figure out how to get your actual minutes/miles. I can't remember which log I was looking at (Vapors?), but I couldn't figure it out. Could one of you tell me how to extract the info? Thanks. And, yes, I am an idiot.

Congratuations to all of our racers!  My gosh, you guys did AWESOME!!  Second in your AG, Captain Lynda - WOW, what can I say, that is just crazy!  I am going to read all the race reports right now.

I can't believe what a team we have here.......and now I feel like the weak link because I did not swim this a.m........I should be kicked off the team.  I should have to post a sig line proclaiming my lazy butt status.  Don't worry, team, I won't let you down, I'll make those yards up somehow.

GO TEAM ENDLESS SUMMER!!!!

P.S  I miss MandiGayle!

Well you could race it for me! I may be to nervous to race it myself! I actually woke up last night at 3AM worried that I had missed the start! It is days away! I am not normal! It is the cycling that worries me most. I have never cycled with others around. I am afraid I am going to screw that up royally!

How's everyone doing? How did your 5k go Hoff? I went for a short run early this morning, first run since completing my triathlon (I love saying that) and it felt pretty good. My legs sere still a little sore but it started to loosen up after a half a mile.

What are the stats for our little mini challenge? I have completed 3 out of 4 early am swims. How about everyone else?

Let's kick some tri butt in July!

Go Team Endless Summer!

Run wasn't to bad. Really hot. Check out race report.
Mini Challenge - so far so good. Have 1 extra early swim in already. So I think I'm going to end with 4 total. Well as long as I get my final two in.

Hey Lynda I realized something. My next race is on the 18th not the 25th. Sorry about that.

soopergirl, go to your happy place! You'll be fine. The bike always sounds so confusing and/or hairy; 15 seconds to pass/drop back as you are overtaken, etc., etc., but it sounds much more confusing than it really is. You'll be fine. At my very first race, I encountered strong headwinds the first half of the race so at mile one I told myself that I'd stop halfway to drink some water. I did, too. If you have any race or strategy questions, just ask. We have some very fast people on our team!

And speaking of fast people, check out hoff's RR. I'm not going to say anything else, other than wow.

Y'all rock.

Yeah! Holy Moly! That is fast!!!!! Congratulations Hoff.

For me I know I just have to go out there and do it. I am too much of a loner. I never do anything with anyone else and so I have never cycled with even one other person there. Now to go out there with all those people is going to get to me. However if I do it once I will feel better after. Well unless I screw it up and then well......... One day I should maybe make friends and go cycling with them. That will be my next challenge!

Way to go Hoff   many smiles and wows for you...geeez, I would kill to have a "6" on my pace!

Soopergirl, don't be overly worried (yeah yeah I  know, easier said than done right?).  Seriously, with the drafting rules NOBODY is going to get all that close to you on the bike unless they are passing, in which case you just let them pass and drop back a little until you are ready to pass THEM.  Then once you are even they will have to drop back to let you by.  You won't be riding in a pack, it's more like just a bunch of individuals who happen to be on the same road together.  You'll be great

Hey, did anyone notice that according to Renee's spreadsheet, minus a couple of  teams w/no numbers, we are in the lead for overall percentages?  Unless I read it wrong, which is entirely possible.

WTG, ENDLESS SUMMER, keep up the good work!  You ROCK! As of the 11th we're at 33%, right on schedule

Now I gotta drag my sorry butt out onto my bike...

Wow team!  We are in the lead until the other two slacker teams put in their numbers for Renee, and probably even after that.  We are doing really great! I knew this team would rock, we have some total training machines on board.

WAY TO GO TEAM ENDLESS SUMMER!!!!

Anybody feeling like they are not on track to make 100% of goal, speak up now so we can send some love your way.

After this morning's swim, I am at 61% on swim, 50% on Bike, and 69% of run - 60% overall.

I have a run scheduled for tomorrow morning, but I may switch it to a bike, because Friday I am getting all 4 wisdom teeth cut out and shouldn't be able to workout until late next week.

Unless recovery doesn't go well, I should make all three goals.

We are looking good team. Let's keep it up.
