Ok, I'll be a captain. Since obviously I have the time for it. I'm looking for some studs.... some Hoss individuals.... some bad mutha-shut-yo-mouths! Come on, y'all!

Post some goals (I'll post mine soon) and what weighting you'll give to each. For instance, this is a run-focused month, so I'll probably weight it .5 and weight swimming and biking .25 a piece. If you have problems with injury on, say, the bike, you might weight that a little lower since you may have to curtail your activity in that arena.

I wanna be on Kim's Team!
Goals:
S: 24000yds
B:300 miles
R: 70 miles

I'm (very) early in my HIM program for Clermont in October, so my totals are a little low, plus I'm racing twice.

Yeah, but after examining my initial post further, I think we should be the Bad Mofos, but we'll see what people want.

Run- 40 miles, however, I may get injured and if so, I reserve the right to equate pool running to actual running and time will substitute for mileage. Ok with everyone?
Swim- 10000 yds/meters
Bike- 150 miles

Kim,

Let me on your team! My totals will be a little lower this month because I have my 1/2 IM on July 16th, so with taper week, I will not be going as long as I did this month. I will check my training schedule once I get home this afternoon and get you totals for my goals for the month.

Mike

Yeah, glad to have you, Mike and Jim! Your totals don't matter, as far as I'm concerned. This is about keeping on track with your workouts and living up to your training plan, not overtraining or ruining a taper.

Kim...I'd like to be on your team...if it isn't full. I need to calculate my hours since I train by hours not miles/yards...based on my training plan from my coach...just got July's schedule today....Let me know...being on a team is fun and helps keep me on track.

I know I'm on this team cuz I have the CUTE PUPPY avatar.

Okay, event on August 7th and haven't been able to run in a month and had a 3 week lay off from swim and bike, so JUST worked this up.

S-4000yards (event in a 1/4 mile swim so not concerned about volume training for that)

B-244 miles (event is 17 mile hilly bike and I NEED the work on endurance)

R-35 miles (event is a 4 mile run, so I have some bricks worked in for the month)

JOYGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a good point.... How many are supposed to be on a team?

I think I remember seeing in the original thread that it is 7-8 per team.

That way there are more teams for us to kick ass.

If 8 is the max on a team, I think you have your roster Kim -- not that I am exclusionary or the captain.

As for a name, I think we shoudl go with something that reflects our team captain -- like a reference to your superior effort in your competition with Bear in April. Hmmm...there have to be people more clever than I am on this team.

The end of a golf day is called the 19th green, so what about T3? Just a thought.

Not to knock it, but it kinda sounds like resting on our laurels...
