I have on my training plan a 100 miler

aug 22 100 mile ride Community Park Cedarville to Paxton's Grille Loveland OH and back on the miami bike trail

I will be using my TT bike and doing about 18 mph avg - if anyone ele would like to ride feel free to join me.  I want to arrive at cedarville at 7:45 and ride at 8:00.  I would like to arrive in loveland by 12:15.  I will make a half hour to 45 min stop in loveland for coffee and snacks.  I would like to be back to cedarville no later than 4:30

others pace groups could be formed

Thanks for the invite.
I will consider it and plan on doing centuries during August.
However, I'm not sure I want to drive that far to the start point.

Question: Is this a self-supported ride?

the miami bike trail has places to stop along the way. they arent too frequent but you can find something every 5-10 miles. I have ridden portions of the trail and they arent too bad. I prefer rural roads because the trail can get full of bikers, walkers, dogs, runners and various groups of people. You wont be doing head down, tucked  and jamming fast but if you are planning on doing a six hour ride you probably wont be doing that anyway.

It is self supported.  I will make stops along the way and carry 32 oz of fluid and a few breakfast bars as well as my phone, cash and credit.  I have a minimal repair kit.

As far as traffic on the bikepath - I hadn't thought about it.  Maybe I should do this on the 20th or 23rd to avoid the bulk of users.  Of course since most of you have 9-5's that might not be good for you.

I found some other great routes on MapMyRide today.
You might want to do a search on there, if you are considering other routes, Brue.
