Hey Team,

As of today I officially reached my goals for the month!!!  Good thing to because I work tomorrow and won't be able to do anything but jumprope and a core workout.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh???

Just capped off the month with a 10 mile run. Cross July of 2005 off the list. Well maybe not. I am thinking about a short bike ride this evening. This is a gorgeous day.

Hey Nancy, excellent.  And do go for that bike ride this evening ... just make sure that you have you can be seen.  I hope that you have a light or reflective clothing.

Ok the big secret to me being able to do all this is that I am in bed asleep between 8:30 and 9 every night. Yes you read it here first. I beat my kids to bed! So I don't go out late enough to be in the gloaming. I have a super bright yellow bike shirt but most days I wear a white coolmax shit with no sleeves cause I already have odd tan lines.

August.. OK here goes. I am going a little conservative here so I don't blow up like last month.

Run: 30 miles per week
Bike: 40 miles per week
Swim: 2000 meters per week

Totals:
Run: 120 miles
Bike: 160 Miles
Swim: 8000 meters

My totals for the month as of today are: Bike: 3 hr. 30 min, Run: 6 hr. 45 min, Swim 2 hours.  Most of which was done in the last week and a half.  I am slightly over on run, slightly under on Bike and half on swim.  I am going to try to swim tomm. but I don't know if it counts and I won't make 4 hours by tomm.

Not sure if I should do August. I didn't do too well this month.  I always have plans to work out but haven't gotten into a routine and don't do it every day like all of you thus didn't quite make my goals.  This just gives me something ELSE to feel guilty about!  Sorry to drag the team down.

Sweet I finally finished everything for this month. Man, what an annoying challenge. I think I've been building too long and the last week was really pushing my limits. In the spirit of actually letting my bum knee heal, I am not going to bike or run at all in August. Only swimming. And kayaking, 'cause it's fun. Can I still be on the team?

I just got back from vacation today, and am still recovering.  So, I don't know what I'm really planning on for August yet - I'm rethinking some things because I really need to start focusing on a job search.

If we're going to join in for August - how long do I have to figure out what I'm doing?

Michel....how did we do overall? Looked for an update on the Central thread but only saw a dated version from about one week ago.
