Pre-race routine:

Up at 5 AM, Shower, no breakfast, 16 oz Water. Drove down and found a great spot near the start. Should of eaten...hindsight 20/20

Comments:

Felt pretty good until mile 3, had to pee really bad. Unfortunately, no Johnny on the Spots along the route. Had to dart into a gas station and beg to use the facilities. Pretty comical, having to tell the clerk either I pee in the building or on the buiding!

What would you do differently?:

Not drink as much pre-race

Post race

Warm down:

Stretch, Powerade, Water and a Melted Powerbar

Cold beer and some wings from Taco Mac

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Did not eat this morning, could have used the fuel!

Event comments:

Support was great and race was organized. Always fun to run with 54,999 of your close and I mean close friends....Course is hard to get going on until everyone spreads out a little.
