Subject: Is Anyone Running the Mohican Ultra?

Just curious if anyone is running the Mohican 50 or 100 Miler in a few weeks?

I REALLY want to run this race in the future but have been in Iraq last year in June, this year in June and will be in Command and General Staff College next June.

So, in all honesty, I'm planning on running it in 2012 (long range planning here!)

Would love to hear that somone was doing it and cheer them on and see how they do and read the race report!

Not doing it this year but did it last year..... Didn't finish. Made it to 62 miles and called it quits. It was a great race and would recommend it for sure.

Awesome job! I have heard that it is a killer course!

I did my first 50 miler last OCT (Nashville Ultra) and am looking forward to doing another after my IM (tentatively doing IM-Louisville in 2011).

Not sure whether I should sign up for the 50 Miler course or sign up for the 100 miler and just see how far I can make it.

How many Ultras had you done prior to Mohican? Were you going into it thinking to just see how far you could go or were you set to really try for 100 miles? Was injury involved in your stop?

Training tips for the Mohican?
