I'm in now!

And I've already screwed up my first entry! Been a runner since High School and decided to do my first triathlon(s) this summer. So far swimming has been the hardest part. I've gotten much better over the winter, looking forward to the first open water swim once the water warms up... I'm in Wisconsin so it could be a while. Just bought a Cervelo Dual to handle the bike leg and can't wait to put on some miles. This site and it's forums have been great for information, sure I'll be spending much more time here.

Anyone else from the Milwaukee area?

Hey welcome to the group Tim. It's not much warmer here in New England, swimming with the polar bears too! Sorta makes you see the reasons behind getting a wetsuit.

I'm as far from New England as it is possible and to still be in the continental US! But welcome none the less.

Your running background will stand you in good stead! And... your on pretty even ground with about 80% of us when you say swimming is your Achilles heel!

But believe me... the improvement curve is exponential. Fitness and form will click and things will move right along!
