So I know it's just in my world, but I had a good weekend.

I completed my first batch of cabinet doors and the island that I am building myself for my kitchen including finishing and they turned out really well.  This is my first attempt at something like this so I'm pretty stoked that I actually did it.   (Thanks to wife for the support and help.)

I dropped under 170 lbs.  This time last year I weighed ~195 lbs.  When I got married 5 years ago I weighed 220 lbs.  I'm so happy, I never ever ever thought I would weight less than 190 again when I got married!  (Thanks to wife for the support.)

I found out that we won a project at work based almost solely on my project resume.  I'm a consulting engineer and I have only been with my company for a year and a half so this was huge for me.

I learned that the bottom of my reef sandals were bottle openers!  seriously!  I don't drink beer, but had a heck of a time opening everyone else's.

That's a project.  I'm helping a buddy do his so I can learn.  I have some I want to add to my house before the end of the year.

It's funny, I ran 30 miles last week and didn't have any issues.  After standing on a ladder for a few hours on Saturday, I could barely walk on Sunday!

I agree ladders just wreck you.  It must be the fact that you're not standing on all of your foot.
