Subject: Rear disc plus rear mounted computer question

My computer pick up (or whatever you call the magnet thingy) is on my rear wheel.  I'm adding a rear disc for an upcoming race.  Is there any way to put a marker (or whatever you call the metal thingy) on a rear disc, or do I need to switch it all to the front wheel to be able to have a computer for the race?

Anyone else deal with this and does anyone race withour a computer?

There are glue on magnets that would work. Just keep in mind that you might need to adjust the distance from the sensor to the magnet as most of the time, the magnet will be placed closer to centerline of the wheel on a disc rather then further out from center on a spoked wheel.

If you're gluing it on, be aware that you can't really remove it with less than an ugly mark on the disc... Glue for tubular tires work great btw.

Use that doublestick tape made by 3M.  You can remove it with Goo Be Gone if you ever decide to take the magnet off.
