Fellow Hossers! Heh...that rhymes with "tossers" (I just finished reading the new Nick Hornby book, and can't stop swearing in English).

Seriously...I'm gonna go ahead and steal this from another team, but make sure you add your team mates to your blog list so you can track our progress, and offer inspiration.

Who's training today? I'm doing an OW swim/run brick...

Go, my Hoss Compadres! GO!

If I imitated your training schedule...

You are going to Africa this week and will quit training for a worthy cause -- but get off our thread and quit talking smack when you are not going to be training for the next three weeks!

I think we should have a minumum admission price to talk smack on our thread -- you actually have to be TRAINING right now. And those with less than 40 miles on the bike LAST MONTH need not apply.

Mmmm, okay. Next time you come here to smack talk, make an attempt at making sense.

Interestingly enough - even with me being out for 2 weeks, my training goal for the month is higher than more than a few challenge participants. As for riding less than 40 miles last month, I have no shame. Last month was my first month of training, and my bike was out of comission for most of the time - besides I don't have a computer on my bike so I log in minutes anyway. Well, tootles . . . I have better places to be than mucking the barn.

Hey Hoss teammates!!

I'm supposed to do bike intervals today...but it is raining and has been all day. I hope it clears up...so I don't have to ride my trainer.

The last two days I had great swims (for me great) of almost an hour each and finally after working on swimming for 4 months I can do it...keep on freestyling without stopping.

We should add each one of us to our buddy list and try to inspire each other...keep us on track to reach 100% and crush all the other teams!

Go Hoss!!

Kathy,

Renee already posted that list on another thread. I think she may have even included all of the goals of our team members. Let me go on a search and I will find out which thread it is.

Mike

PS. I just found it -- go to the July Challenge Central thread at the top of the Challenges Forum page and Renee posted our totals. Look at almost the end of the page.

Anyone racing this weekend? I'm doing the same tri I did a year ago...I really hope to crush my time...came in at 1:53 in a sprint...hope to go under 1:30 but would be happy with a 20 minute decrease in time.

I've always been active with the Muscular Dystrophy charity, so I'd like to suggest that these other teams donate to this fine charity.  Jerry Lewis can't do it all by himself you know...

My pledge?  I pledge to make these other teams pay, both in pain and in money...

Kim,

Would you like us to report our MTD numbers every Monday or so here on the thread? Public display of my progress towards my goal is always helpful in getting me on the road.

Well, you certainly won't be in pain from training - I've seen your logs...

Ok, that makes me worry about health conditions at your pool.  Or do you swim in the drainage pond at the local pig farm?

It seems a lot of people have stepped up to you and have been cut down, sulking off into the shadows never to return. I am glad you are on my team.
