Ironman France : Official Thread

Anybody signed up for 2011?  I signed up and am wondering about tri bike vs. road bike.

I'm signed up for 2011, but I don't have a Tri bike so I'll only be using a road bike.

Don't think there will be a lot of chance to use the Areo on the Tri-Bike since the downhill from what I have read is twisty...

Was thinking about this race next year.  This maybe a dumb question but I am going to ask it anyway.  I was looking on the website and saw the entry fee is I think in Euro dollars.  What is the entry fee?  Do you pay with a credit card?  What kind of money for hotels a night in American dollars?  Was thinking of making this a IM trip and stay over one more week to catch the start of the Tour De France.  Would I be better served going through a travel agent for arrangements on my hotel?  Any thoughts would be appretiated.
