Looking for opinions on the QR  CD01 tri bike.  Anyone rode one and have an opinion?  Getting ready to finally take the plunge and buy a new bike in the next couple of weeks.

I would love to hear some feedback as well. I am a big QR fan. I am on my third one and the CD01 was next in line.

I was considering this bike when I purchased my first tri bike about 6 weeks ago. I ended up with a Blue Triad, but the CD0.1 looked very nice in person. I saw a few in action this past weekend, and they looked very nice. I think that the second place finisher in the HIM was on one.

You QR CD0.1 owners need to speak up!  I've just about convinced my wife that this is the bike I need to get next month so let me know if I'm making the right decision.  Of course, it all depends on if it fits or not!  It seems like the DuraAce version is a good value.  I'm not so sure about the shifted downtude, clean-side / dirty-side.

I found a couple of reviews on Slowtwitch.  Found them to be helpful.

I had a QR 2008 Caliente that I traded in for the CD01.  My dealer had a place for my frame and he had the Black CD in my size that he wanted to move so he took mine on trade in.  Transferred cranks, durace components, wheels etc....  I took it out for the maiden voyage last night for a 90 minute pounding and it may be in my head (right brain convincing the impulsive left brain it was a good purchase) but this bike feels so comfortable and more importantly much more stable.  I had pretty good cross winds at some points in the ride and this thing just slices through the wind.  It is counter intuitive to me but I would have thought a stiffer frame would have been less forgiving but this thing is the opposite.  It was really comfortable and the stiffness in the bottom bracket made me feel like every ounce of power was going to the pedals.  It is really hard to quantify but the "feel" was so different than the Caliente (which I loved BTW).  I will not really know until I test it on the 18th Ironaman 70.3 Racine but if yesterday was any indication I am going to LOVE this bike.
