New to the site and to triathlon

Hey everybody, my name is Charlie and I am in the Army assigned with SOCCENT in Tampa Fl. I am 45 years old and have been in the Army for 21 years. I have only done one Triathlon before and that was the Howard Air Force Base Triathlon in Panama in 1995 when I was a lieutenant in the 82 ABN. I did that by order of my company commander so I really do not count that one.

I am doing my First "Voluntary" Triathlon this weekend at the Morton Mease Plant Triathlon in Clearwater,  and I am really looking forward to the experience.

I just wanted to say thanks to all the people that post on this site, the advise and encouragement that you give to every one has really motivated me to finally give it a try (no pun intended).
