As Team Captain of the Victorious Testosterbones (probably the last time I'll be writing that), I hereby decree that there are three Charities to which donations should be directed by the courageous Gear Goddesses.  Those charities are:

  1. St. Judes Children's Research Hospital via Motivated
  2. Team in Training - Leukemia and Lymphoma Society via ScubaPunk
  3. Aplastic Anemia Fundraiser via Steve-

To access the contribution pages, just click on the links under our signature on any particular post.  You might also look up the links on our training logs.  For me, that link will take you directly to my page at St. Judes.  As a footnote, 100% of your donation is going directly to St. Jude.

Thank you in advance for your contribution.  Now matter how small, it helps in a very big way!

Nice job once again bones!  WE DID IT!

good job karl at being team captain.

If anyone would like to send their money to Aplastic Anemia you can do it 2 ways.

1.  Write a check made out to AAMDS and mail it to me at:

Steve Janowiak
P.O. Box 54
Brookfield, IL  60513

2.  Go to www.active.com/donate/imwisconsin/yes and donate online.

I would prefer that everyone send a check to me even though it would be a couple extra steps because that way the 6.5% that Janus takes off can be avoided and 100% of the $$$ from your checks will go directly to fund medical research.

All you guys did a good job, and the girls were excellent smack talkers!

It was a difficult choice. I am touched by our guys whose loved ones are afflicted. While I lost a friend to leukemia 2 years ago and believe leukemia research is vital, I decided to contribute to Aplastic Anemia research as they have fewer resources.

Best wishes to both Steve and ScubaPunk and their respective wives.

Ladies, I hope everyone is making good on their pledges.
