Swim
Comments: The water was murky, but it was a comfortable temp. First time with out a wet suit. I think the swim went o.k. for me. What would you do differently?: Still need to work on side to side breathing in open water. Need to site better as well as find some were to practice open water swimming. Swimming could be improved a bunch. Transition 1
Comments: transition went well. What would you do differently?: Need to practice riding with out socks. Still found my self standing there. need to do swim to bike bricks at the pool. Bike
Comments: Still need to work the hills. Over all I am happy with my bike split. What would you do differently?: Try to work through the mental barriers! Transition 2
Comments: Need to get pull tight shoe stings and practice running sockless. Run
Comments: My run was on course with my traning pace. Altough I was very surprized To see my 5k time because I felt like a snail. It was my personal best time. It took about a mile to get into a groove with the run. The first hill was a killer. My finish was a strong a finsh as I have had. What would you do differently?: Still need to do more brick work outs. I need to get up to speed a lot Quicker. Start my ending kick sooner. Post race
Warm down: Just stop running. What limited your ability to perform faster: Getting up to speed and not enough hill work. Event comments: Great race! It was there first annaul race. For there first time and my second I thought it was well organized. I will do it again next year. Where is the next race! Last updated: 2005-06-23 12:00 AM
