I bought these because they are light, fast and soft inside for sockless racing. I wore them for one sprint race and a few training runs, maybe 10 miles total. They are great, but I pronate just a bit too much and so they aren't good for me.

I had trouble getting them on my feet fast , even with the elastic laces you see in the picture, because of the way the tongue is designed. Maybe you will be more coordinated! They are super comfy and fast, tho, and would be great for 5k racing.

I have the original laces, too. I paid $110 for them. $60 firm because I would rather keep them than give them away!
