Subject: OWS At Beltzville State Park
Has anyone done any open water swims at Beltzville State Park? I few us os doing the Steelman were thinking of going up for a practice swim. Fromthe webiste I did not see any restrictions.

For those interested I will answer my own question. We went early, beach was empty and water warm. We swam between the " no boat" bouys (sp?) and the rope line defining the swimming area, just swimming parallel to the shore. That worked out nice because the water was only 6' deep, and you had the rope if you felt you were in trouble and 5' water just a few yards away. Note there is no lifeguard on duty ever, so it is swim at your own risk.
