Fist Race Yesterday - I Think I'm Hooked!

Yesterday was my first race & it was so much fun!  (Race report here.) I went out with the goal of going around 2 hours and I was 1:45:24!  I didn't die or breathe in to much water on the swim.  I fixed my tire quickly on the bike and had a great ride.  I made it through the run without super knee pain or an asthma attack. Overall it was awesome and I'm totally hooked on this triathlon thing now.

I'm really glad I decided to do this sprint before I tried to get all the way to the olympic distance because now I have such a better idea about what I need to be spending my time on.  Doing core work or hill repeats is still not going to be oodles of fun, but now I have a really concrete idea of why I need to be doing those things.
