Has anybody run in these? I would love to hear how you went and what you think of them? If any of the coaches have an opinion on them it would be great to get feedback also.

There have been quite a few threads, I'm sure a search of "Vibram" or "VFF" (if that's not too short) will turn up a lot but here's my take

I LOVE THEM.  I don't run in anything else and the Bikila's are super comfy.  they take some getting used to, you have to start slow and let your achilles and calves get used to it.  For me they really helped my form and my knee pain and shin issues just went away.  They're also light weight, easy to run in when wet (in case of rain).  I think they're well worth giving a try, just remember it takes time.  You're not going out on day 1 and rattling off a lot of miles.  I just walked around in mine for a couple weeks before starting to run in them

I also have the Bikila's and love them.  Walked around in them for weeks.  Had my first short run last Thursday, just 1 mile on the treadmill and this is the first day my calves weren't sore.  Plan on doing it again Thursday, same distance.  It takes some time to build up.  I am doing this running in addition to my training plan running.

They are also fun to wear and people always comment and other VFF wearers always give a nod.
