Don't call their sh!t crap, and maybe they'll laugh.

Couple years back, Lance was riding a litespeed that was painted and decaled to look like a trek.

So, after bit of joking and comments, we decided we’d both head off together to the UCI Commissaire’s hotel to check the weights on the official scale. The Discovery guys wheeled Ivan’s and Carlos bikes over to their team car and tied them on top with Lance’s, and off we went to meet the Commissaire. It must have been a sight to see the leaders bikes from rival teams together on a Discovery car racing through Grenoble. I’m sure it started some good conspiracy theories.

I thought it was CSC defecting to Discovery to help Lance.

Happens all the time in the pro cycling...

Years ago, the old 7-11 team of Davis Phinney and Bob Roll fame was sponsored by Huffy.  I'm pretty sure they weren't actually riding Huffys...

Those were some majorly sweet custom Serrottas rebadged with Huffy stickers. Most Ironic bikes ever.

This photo represents some good deals that the DSC mechanics picked up from the CSC team with Dave out. You can probably get a good deal on EBAY next month, so keep your eyes out. HA!

Speaking of rebadging- a Skoda is just a VW now. Probably very little Czech engineering involved anymore.

There is still a lot of rebadging in the pro peloton. The Festina team used to ride Litespeeds labeled as Peugeots, but I don't think anyone rides Ti anymore. When CSC first started riding Cervelo's, Tyler Hamilton didn't actually ride one. He used a Parlee road frame and a Walser time trial frame, then Cervelo came out with a Carbon frame very similar to Parlee. A lot of teams still use the Walser time trial frames but put their sponsor on the down tube. Ullrich rides them a lot.
Last year or the year before, I believe it was Gerolsteiner that was riding Wilier frames. The owner of Wilier claimed they were riding a new frame he was working on, but it turned out to be a rebadged Scott frame. Scott didn't appreciate that very much and I think they may have sued him.
