Subject: Timberman or Syracuse 70.3?
I'm looking to do my first HIM in 2011 and debating between Timberman NH in August and Syracuse in Sept. I'm starting to lean toward Syracuse because it's a couple of hours closer to home, and, as it takes place in Sept, I would be able to get more training in during August, which is a good training month for me. I will be reading as much as I can about both races before I make up my mind. Any opinions on either race would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Syracuse is a new race, Timberman is long established as one of the better 70.3s in the region. I don't think anyone can give you an unbiased official opinion on Syracuse for another couple months....
