Subject: Smithpoint Tri - Wet Suit vs Tri Suit
first tri in open water, can you do this race in no wet suit and just swim in your tri suit? I swam at Gilgo today and the water was cold, but not unbearable.. Thoughts? Tx

i'm sure that wetsuits won't be mandatory so you can swim in just a tri suit if you like. if this is your first open water triathlon you may want to consider using the wetsuit, it will help you float better which can give you peace of mind.

personally i always use a wetsuit when they're legal
