Going to do a Sprint Tri on Halloween - Suggestion for what costume I should wear

Superman cape??

Dress up like one of those bike guys wearing all spandex in bright colors.

Grow out a half- beard and chest hair,  wear a mankini and bandana and  go as Faris. 

 No Capes!

Seriously, though, I fear a cape would be a hazzard on a bike.  Think Isadora Duncan.

What about putting a viking helmet on over your cycling helmet, and then wearing it for the run?  I would think of how to incorporate the helmet in to the costume...


 

Aquaman!  He has no cape, and seems really fast in the water!  Hopefully he can bike and run, too!

Get your hands (or build) a bike like in the video 'Kings and Queens' by 30 seconds to Mars.  You'll know the one I mean when you see it.

Every Hallowe'en, I used to put foam bunny ears on and they stuck up through my helmet (I was a bike commuter), and I could just wear them around after I took my helmet off.

Painted a black nose and whiskers on with waterproof mascara.

I am honestly thinking of swimming and then at transition putting on a spider man costume as my son will be there and he loves super heros.    Obvioulsy I will lose time but I am not worried about this race.   Just going to have a good time.

Might I suggest this.

Spiderman came in the top 100 at the Honolulu Marathon 2004.

At my last tri, a guy wearing Spiderman tights was FIRST out of the water (we're talking ahead, WAY ahead, of the guy who was an Olympic swimmer).

So maybe Spiderman tights in the water, then just toss on a Spiderman shirt for the bike/run? (Tight Spidey top would be too hard to get on when wet, even if you're not concerned about time).

Put on a monkey suit and wear a tshirt that says "government"
