I'm GOOD!    I think we're all way too busy though

Regardless, training is good, 1/2 IM in 2.5 weeks....I'm ready!

Team Guinness is busy training!

I'm doing well.  I should make my goals--but it'll be close.  It would be my highest run & bike totals and very close to my highest swim for any month so far.  I should make the run fine.  The bike & swim will be close.  I've got a race next week, but I'm training through it as my goal is a 1/2 IM in early September.  Hopefully all this volume will pay off then!

A Half in September...impressive. I've got a good bit of training to do before I can give that a try.

I know that I am; my wife is threatening to get a dog to keep her company since it's either out of bed to run before daylight, or bike straight from work before coming home, or eat dinner and hit the pool.

But, she says either way, if I was at home at would be upstairs in the office on BT!!

Hi Team Guinness!  Time for the Friday update, and things look GOOD!

COgirl is staying strong, but she's been passed by both Trimossy and JohnnyKay (just barely!).  Way to go!!!  Jiggies and grvfrog are right on target - and I'm not far behind (finally catching up!).  Velasqu7 is bouncing back from his wicked bike crash - heal well amigo!  And Norakraemer has been enjoying a vacation in Yellowstone - I'm confident she'll pull herself back in the game this week.  These stats reflect your training through 7/21.

Everybody have fun this weekend!  Make sure you logs are caught up on Monday and I'll send our numbers to Renee that night.  If you haven't seen it, she puts all the teams in a spreadsheet and publishes it on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Good job everyone!

And thanks for the update Brett, but don't forget that we have to cap the completed percentages at 100% (assuming that's the scoring system agreed to ).

I noticed that nearly everyone's run portion is their worst part - mine certainly is.

For me, running is my weak link, and what I enjoy least, plus it's scorching hot down here. What about others?

Yay! Thanks for the link to our team stats. I had a great time out in Yellowstone. We hiked every day. Some days were really intense - like the 7 mile hole trail down to the bottom of the Canyon...and then straight back up! We were sore the next day! It was great to see relatives and spend time with friends...back to the grind. I'm teaching vacation bible school all week, so I have a little prepping to do.

Haha...i just thought the same thing Trimossy...My run is REALLY weak..I think its because my knees get shot on the bike and I'm not as scared of the run. Wow...Looks like i dont need to worry anymore about swimming..>Good grief...can you tell its the part I'm most worried about?

OK team - we're down to the wire!!  Are we going to make it???

I'm going to knock out half my remaining run and a chunk of my remaining swim today.  Unless I get run over by a truck - I'll meet all goals!

What's in your wallet?  on your training plan?  Tell your team mates how you're going to make it to your goals!!

I hit my run goal with my long run yesterday.

I am within 30mi on the bike and have 20 in my race on Sat.  Assuming no major problems there (not a safe assumption with my track record), I just need to get 1 other ride in.  Should make it.

I got a good swim in today and need less than 3000m.  With roughly 800 in the race, I should be able to knock this out in my workout tomorrow if all goes as planned.

Go Team Guinness!!

Woo hoo!  Guinness is good for you.

Bike and Run are done; another run in the morning and tri Saturday and I'll be done for Run too.

This has been my first challenge, and I have to say, though I've never met any of you, it has been great motivation to be a part of the challenge team. Thank you to all of you that have "Inspired Me" on the training log. This has been my best training month since I started in April/May, and I credit the competition and keeping up with the team as the reason.

Thanks.

Getting ready to head out of town for the weekend, but my race tomorrow will put me safely above 100% of goal in all 3 sports.

Good luck team!  Enjoy a Guinness!

OK, I'm finally at 100% for everything as of today!

I think I'm out for a challenge for next month.....I need a break!  1/2 IM is next week, and then a need to chill a bit

I'm done for the month - 100% on all three...just barely on the run.  Run will be a primary focus in the August challenge.

See you there.
