They are sneakers. If they fit, feel good, and you like them, buy them. Really, it does not have to be any more complicated than that for the great majority of you.
Personally, I don't like to spend more than $80 for a pair of running shoes (and generally spend more like $40 ). If you do, that's entirely your decision, and I have no thoughts or concerns on how you spend your money.
If your goal is to run sockless, I recommend starting out slowly and building up the time. It gives your feet an opportunity to develop calluses. That will help more than special shoes. |
