My better half is freaking out that she has to wait till next summer to watch what happens next....

Pam is so cool, I guess she offed the Rupert? guy and rescued Erik.

Sheriff Andy going to try V?

Tara with short hair?  I thought she was thinking darker thoughts.

As the show ended, I felt a little letdown at the episode being a season finale! To me, it didn't live up to the expectations I had.

I thought that thye should have left us to think Eric was gone until next season!

I will say that it left some interesting cliffhangers for the next season, although can't say I am thrilled with the introduction of witches and stuff like Alan Ball said...

Interested in:
Sam ( I hope he shot that little brother)
Jessica and Hoyt and Hoyt's Mom with the gun
Andy taking V??

Not interested in:
Lafeyette and Jesus and witchcraft
Jason and Hot Shot
Tara leaving Bon Temp
Terry and Arlene
Sookie

I was even disappointed in the way they brought back Godric!

Anyways, just my opinion

I enjoyed it, overall. The charred Russell was hilarious. I’m a little sorry to see him go (is he gone?), since I think he’s so funny.

One thing that troubled both my wife and I: When Godric burned, he was exposed to the rising sun for a minute or to, and then exploded into blue fire and disintegrated. Godric specifically said, “It won’t take long. Not at my age.” Yet Russell was exposed to (I guess) midday sun for several minutes and was only charred and weakened. Seemed inconsistent to me. Godric and Russell can’t be that far apart in age if both were alive (as vampires) and powerful when Eric was still human.

I knew Tara was just going to cut her hair.

Witches, now? Really? I said earlier in the season that it’s starting to look like Middle Earth over in Bon Temps. When we get to Leprechuans and elves, I’m out.

The “intervention” was hilarious. I love Hoyt’s mom. I hope the way that subplot is developing means that we’ll have a whole lot more Jessica next season.

Ditto Lafayette.

Kinda liked the angry Sookie. The scene with her laughing as she poured the remains of Talbot down the dispos-all was great. Seeing her harnessing her powers was cool, but I hope she doesn’t get all X-men next season, blasting people left and right.

For next season, I want:
More: Pam, Lafayette, Jessica, Hoyt, Alcide and Tara (but only if it’s the smart-mouthed sassy Tara).

Less: Sam, Jason, Andy, Bill, Arlene, and Tara (but only if it’s the trembling, blubbering victimized Tara).

I wasn’t left with the “OMG! What’s happening next? I can’t wait ‘till next season!” feeling that I had last season, but maybe that’s because I really don’t have room in my life for more TV, what with Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire and Dexter about to start.

I can't believe I am admitting to knowing this but...

Sookie's blood allowed Russell to last as long as he did in the sun.

According to the mrs, the 4th book is all about witches.

If Ball would have changed that, there probably would have been a huge outrage.

Overall, I was underwhelmed by the episode.  Pouring Talbot was the highlight.

Oh, y’know, actually, that makes perfect sense. I should have figured that out.

Not the best season, still entertaining though.  I thought the finale was lacking somewhat.

I may actually read the book for the next season, so I can be a snob when the season comes out :P

Anybody else notice the doll on the floor of Hoyt & Jessica new house.    Wasn't there when they entered, but as he swooped her off her feet to go have Pizza, they panned to the floor and the doll?

Voodoo looking.  And the jilted GF was a collector of dolls........

I thought it was a good finale. I feel like they could use another 3-4 episodes just to tie up everything and let some storylines breath a bit during a season. So much gets crammed in 12 episodes that I think 3-4 would make it a perfect season.

Charred Russel grossed me out...the charred skin hanging...just blech! I'm wondering if the burying of Russel just leaves it open for him to come back down the road.

Did anyone else notice that the whole Bill and Vampire Queen at the end remind them of the Matrix?

I love Tara with the short hair. Hope she isn't gone forever because I like how her character progressed this season...seems to have found strength.

I don't think Sam killed his brother and they obviously didn't show what happened after he fired the gun. Probably wounded him.

Hoyt's mom is a riot. Love her character and wish there was more of her this season.

I'm digging mean Sookie...what she did to Talbot was awesome.

Oh my god, did that suck.  I stayed wih them this season, unlikely I'll be back for more, I just don't care much about any of them.  Bill and Sookie, fer cryin out loud just let it be over

And Hoyt's mom?  And the intervention?  JMO but I think she is an uninteresting character, seeing her buy the gun knowing she's gonna raise a ruckus just made me realize they're not done with her.  And Jason taking over hotshots?  stupid....

The only good characters are Eric and Russell.  That matrix thing at the ned with the queen and bill.  As my wife said, "oy vey."

Being Human is a much better vampire/werewolf/ghost show   I am officially over TB  (until... maybe... next season....)  Same thing happened with Dexter.  After a couple seasons it wasn't much different, and ceased to hold my interest.
