race was delayed 45 minutes because of HUGE storms. i sat in the car hoping to not get struck by lightning.

Event comments:

i will fill this out later as i get the placement results and such. it was my slowest "race" this year. i think the marathon training mileage is affecting my short distance speed. the good thing is i kept the pace steady through the whole race, no crazy superfast start, i couldn't even if i tried, the beginning was extremely congested.

UPDATE, it was my fastest this year according to my files, it just FELT super slow, could it be the 99% humidity? it kinda makes you feel like you're running through molasses.

Hey, I think that is pretty darn fast!!  No fun to have a slow race, I know, but congrats anyway.  I wish I was that fast!
