Hi all,

If you are bored out of your mind and want to read a long story, here's mine from IMWI - this was my first 140.6 -- http://hydro311.blogspot.com/2010/09/ironman-wisconsin-2010.html

Just understand this isn't a race recap written for triathletes; this post was more for my family & friends who don't have much of an understanding about triathlon.

That being said, y'all may like the few videos & pics in there

Cheers, Chris

Thanks all!

IM & WTC gets a bad rap these days with the prices, registration, etc, etc, but... wow... the experience of an Ironman race is just nothing short of spectacular.  I had really underestimated how epic it would be from start-to-finish.

Definitely some powerful energy out there on race day, and I'm grateful I got the chance to participate!

Hoping to return in '11 to volunteer, but I'll have to see how the household budget is recovering from this year's adventures first

Cheers, Chris
